Dorian Allan Davis

Dorian Allan Davis, age 86, left this world on Monday, December 6, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He went to be with his trusted Savior, Jesus Christ, and attend a reunion with family and friends he had not seen in a long time.

Dorian was born August 27, 1935 to James Russell Davis and Lois Katherine Guither Davis in Walnut, Illinois.

Dorian proudly served in the United States Air Force for over 30 years. Military life took him all over the world to Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Newfoundland, Germany, and several places in the States.

After “retirement”, Dorian spent several years working in real estate, had a handyman business, “Dave’ll do it”, then prepared taxes for over 25 years. He enjoyed his time with family, travel, woodworking, jazz, trout fishing, and especially his beloved camping trips to the mountains.

Dorian will be remembered for his kindness, practicality, and loving words of wisdom, and seeing the beauty in all things.

He leaves behind his loving family: his wife of 48 years, Lynn Davis; his children, Valarie Alexander (Tom), Mark Davis (Donna), Kathy Davis, Tom Davis (Carri), Debra Davis, Deidre Davis, Kristi Kiesel (Ronald) and Juline Davis; his younger brother, Gordon Davis (Vikki) and his much loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren plus many friends.

In his memory, his family hopes that you will remember to pick up litter wherever you walk.

Private family services will be held. Arrangements are under the care of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, 220 North 1st St., Guthrie, Oklahoma 73044.

Friends may sign the online guestbook at www.smithgallo.com.
