A small aircraft that had been under construction caught fire at the Guthrie-Edmond Regional Airport.
Guthrie Fire & EMS were dispatched and Logan County Emergency Management assisted in the fire containment.
The aircraft was a single-engine plane next to a hanger and as reported by Guthrie Fire & EMS on their Facebook post “The crews did an awesome job getting a quick knockdown and keeping the fire off the hanger.”
The fire was fully contained and no injuries were reported.
According to the Guthrie-Edmond Regional Airport, regular airport operations remain unaffected.
