Brunch on Noble

Brunch on Noble (BON) is a community initiative that began in January 2014, spearheaded by the Presbyterian Church Women and initially driven by Jennifer Bozarth. The mission is to provide a free, nutritious meal every Saturday morning, ensuring no one goes hungry as the weekend begins. Attendees receive a hot brunch and can take a sack lunch to go.

The program faced challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to a hiatus in 2021 and 2022. However, in August 2022, Tammie Hulsey, with the assistance of Pat and Frank Flaga, revived the initiative. Since resuming in September 2022, BON has served over 2,100 hot meals, thanks to the efforts of 10 teams and about 25 volunteers.

Brunch on Noble oper- ates every Saturday at the Fellowship Hall of the First United Presbyterian Church, 102 E. Noble Avenue, Guthrie, OK. Doors open at 9:00 am, with brunch served from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Attendees can enjoy coffee, cereal, community fellowship, or play board games while waiting for brunch.

The program thrives on donations and the support of partners like Vision Farms, which provides fresh produce and other food items. These contributions are vital for maintaining our services and fostering healthier eating habits. We welcome both monetary and in-kind donations.

Special thanks to Vision Farms, First United Presbyterian Church, Presbyterian Women, Trinity Episcopal Church, First United Methodist Church, and other community members for their unwavering support.
