The Oklahoma Equestrian Trail Riders Association will be holding a Ride at Liberty Lake event on Monday. Those who wish to ride need to be ready to ride by 8:45 a.m. All are welcome to attend the event, even those who wish not to ride a horse.
The Langston Community Veterans Appreciation Committee will be hosting their Memorial Day program on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Wm Conrad Veterans Memorial Gardens in Langston. The program will feature musical, poetic and narrative salutes to remember those who perished while serving during wartime/active duty.

Following the program, those in attendance are welcome to stay for a community picnic luncheon and yard games for all to enjoy.
Holiday closings for Memorial Day will also be in place. City of Guthrie, Courthouse, Banks and the Post Office will be closed. Guthrie News Leader will be closed Friday May 24 and re-open on Tuesday May 28.
