Guthrie's Special Olympic athletes depart for the 39th Summer Games in Stillwater last Wednesday. Escorting them were the Territorial Riders and members of the Guthrie Police Department. High school students, as well as the Upper and Central elementary students, were all outside their respective schools to give the athletes a big sendoff. They competed over three days at Oklahoma State University before returning home Friday.
