Elizabeth Safrona Clay LaFerry (AKA) Betty Jo LaFerry was born in Welling, Oklahoma on March 12, 1929 to James Andrew Clay and Mary Ellen Hamby Clay has gone to the Lord on this day June 5, 2023.
She passed away at home at 6:59p.m. at 6502 Central Road, Guthrie, Oklahoma, Oklahoma 73044, she is survived by 1 sister Anna Murgado of Oldsmar, FL, two (2) sons Joe H. LaFerry of Bartlesville, OK and Clay E. LaFerry of Guthrie, OK and four (4) grandchildren, two (2) great grandchildren, and six (6) Great Great grandchildren!
She was a graduate of Northeastern State University and as a teach taught school for twenty some years and was Food Quality Control Manager for some 30 years at Mc-Donald’s Corporation, and retired from McDonalds at age 90!
She spent her remaining years with family and friends and enjoyed her children and the good life!
Funeral services will be held at Reed Culiver, Tahlequah, Oklahoma on June 14, 2023 at 2:00p.m.
