Eino Clark Lahti was born on December 5, 1946, in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Eino and Dorothy (Bowen) Lahti. He passed away at the age of 76 on April 24, 2023, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Eino served in the United States Air Force and was a retired Staff Sergeant in the 179th Infantry Regiment Army National Guard. He also retired from the Oklahoma Highway Department where he worked on a road crew for most of his adult career.
Eino grew up and lived in Guthrie most of his life. He married Joyce (Countess) Lahti in 1967 and they made their home with their 3 children in Guthrie. After that union ended he met and married Cleo (Spence) Lahti who passed away in 1992. He then later married Schawanna (Breassette) Lahti in 1994.
His hobbies included shade tree mechanics, working on outside projects, many conversations that involved a good laugh or joke so as to indulge his mischievous nature, and the occasional vacation or road trip to visit family.
Eino was preceded in death by his parents Eino and Dorothy Lahti; a brother, Troy Don Lahti; wife, Cleo (Spence) Lahti; wife, Schawanna (Breassette) Lahti; and a daughter, Elaine Lahti-O’Neal.
Survivors include his children, Eino Lahti, Jr. and wife Donna of Idabel, OK and Judith (Judy) Starr and husband Shawn of Concordia, KS; stepdaughter Debra Carberry of Guthrie, OK and stepson Donald Breassette of Butler, OK; his siblings Carol Derryberry and husband Ron of Sacramento, CA, Robert Lahti of Sacramento, CA and Terry Lahti of Moore, OK. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M., on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Hayes Funeral Home Chapel. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
