Langston, OK - The Langston Planning & Economic Development Group is proud to announce the launch of its latest initiative, “Pave-The Way.” aimed at revitalizing the City of Langston through economic development and infrastructure improvements.
The initiative offers residents, local businesses, alumni, and athletes the chance to make a lasting impact on the community by sponsoring a street and covering the cost of its renovation In recognition of their support, the street will be named in their honor, and the group will hold a ceremony at the end of the initiative to recognize

The City of Langston has been awarded a combined total of $300,000 for infrastructure improvements through grants from ACOG and the Oklahoma Water Resource Board, each grant amounting to $150,000.” The funds will be released early this year “According to Mary Boyles, Project Coordinator for Langston Planning and Economic Development Group” In recent months, the group has been meeting with the Logan County Economic Development Council, USDA, and Oklahoma Department of Commerce to leam about resources available to the City of Langston. With the help of these organizations, the group will be applying for various grants to support infrastructure and business development projects.
The “Pave- The Way” initiative officially launches on February 1st, in honor of Black History Month. The group encourages members of the community to get involved and make a difference in the Town of Langston.
