Cora Maye (Tharp) Biggs, 94, of Guthrie, OK, was born on the Kingfisher Logan County Line SW of Crescent Oklahoma on June 24, 1928 to Scott and Faye (Clark) Tharp. She was the middle of five sisters. She passed away Friday, December 16, 2022 in Guthrie.
Cora is preceded in death by her dad, Walter “Scott” Tharp of Guthrie; mother, Faye (Clark) Tharp of Guthrie; sister, Helen Landis of Guthrie; sister, Dusa and husband Norval Gooch of Guthrie; sister, Naomi and husband James Pickard of Nicoma Park, Oklahoma; daughter, Charlotte “Elaine” (Biggs) and husband Rick DeMoss of Guthrie; and grandson, Butch DeMoss of Guthrie.
Cora is survived by her son, Jimmie and wife, Susan Biggs of Guthrie; sister, Josie (Tharp) Ham of Guthrie; many grandkids, great grandkids, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family.
Cora had many friends that she also considered family. She loved all she encountered and did not know a stranger.
Memorial services for Cora will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Smith Memorial Chapel. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
