OBITUARIES
Mary L. (Gibson) Maupin was born May 19, 1932 in Guthrie, OK. She went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 22, 2022 in Oklahoma City, OK.
She was a lifelong resident of Guthrie. Mary graduated from Guthrie High School in 1950.
Mary was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Guthrie where she taught second grade Sunday school for twentyfive years.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-four years, Jimmy S. Maupin; her sister-in-law, Kathryn Gibson; her two children, Anita K. Morgan and Bobby Scott Maupin and their spouses; ten grandchildren; twenty-one greatgrandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, October 27, 2022 at First Southern Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Summit View Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, 3:00 P.M. 8:00 P.M. at Smith-Gallo Funeral Home.
