Funeral services for Karen Marie (Thorn) Wallis, 69, of Guthrie, OK were held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Guthrie Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Tom Smith officiating. Interment was held at 1:00 P.M. at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Oklahoma City, OK. Services were under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
Karen was born December 3, 1952 in Warrington, England to William and Carol (Ross) Thorn. She passed away Thursday, September 29, 2022 in Guthrie.
She was very active in her community, including the Red Cross, the Blue Grass Festival, and many other volunteer endeavors. Karen was a member of the RockinMCowboyChurch in Perkins, OK.
Karen is survived by her parents, William and Carol Thorn; daughter and sonin- law, Missy and Rodney Moyer; and grandchildren, Christopher, Kristina, Caleb, and Katherine. She is also survived by her sisters and their husbands, Patricia and Jon Geel, Judy Damron, Aiya and George Kelley as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and adopted family members.
