Janice Elaine Hill, 70, of Guthrie, Oklahoma, was born January 1, 1952 at St. Benedictine Hospital in Guthrie to W. Frank and Ilene (Fisher) Cunningham. She passed away at home, Monday, September 19, 2022.
She spent her childhood on a farm in Guthrie with her 5 brothers and sisters and was a 1970 graduate of Guthrie High School. Janice spent her early working career as a partner in Riley Construction and United Line Contractors. She moved on to spend 22 years as an auditor with the Oklahoma Tax Commission.
After retirement from the tax commission, she enjoyed gardening, spending time with family and friends, tennis, water aerobics, and taking care of her dog, Timber.
Janice is preceded in death by her husband, Keith Hill; her parents, W. Frank and Ilene Cunningham; her brother-in-law and sister, Don and Carol Collins; her sister-in-law, Nyanza Cunningham; and her sister-in-law, Elaine Cunningham.
She is survived by her daughter, Gena; son, Jed Riley and wife,Tricia; grandsons: Trey Mason and wife, Madison and Jackson Riley; granddaughters: Kamyle Cole and fiancé, Nick Durst, Ariestecia Cole, Grace Riley, Jaxen Vinalay and husband, Olimar, Tyler Riley and Olivia Riley. She is also survived by greatgranddaughters: E’lahnia Moon and Charlie Mason as well as great-grandson, Jah’kai Moon; her 4 siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, September 23, 2022 at Smith Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Summit View Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
