Guthrie Chamber President Brittany Timmons Graduates from Chamber Management Institute

The Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce Executives (OCCE) honored 14 graduates of the organization’s Chamber Management Institute (CMI) at the 2021 Annual Conference and Awards, that was held at Bartlesville’s Hilton Garden Inn.

The CMI sessions, which took place over a four-month period, cover the fundamentals of a chamber of commerce, financials, board development, economic and community development, tourism, membership recruitment and retention, and communication strategies.

“CMI is an extremely valuable program for the professional development of chamber of commerce professionals,” 2021 OCCE Board Chair Sherri Wing-Marsico said. “Through the years, this program has equipped hundreds of professionals from across the state with the tools and knowledge to lead their chambers and communities.”

Brittany Timmons, President & CEO, Guthrie Chamber of Commerce was one of the 14 graduates.

“I am very grateful that I was able to take classes through the Chamber Management Institute,” Timmons said. “The information I learned through the program is extremely valuable. I am excited to bring this knowledge back to Guthrie and plan to continue to implement new ideas and processes. I look forward to serving our Chamber investors in the best way possible. Thank you to our Board of Directors for giving me this wonderful opportunity.”
