Wildcats win fourth in a row, Senior Night this Friday in Cashion

The Cashion Wildcats (4-1,2-0 in district action) kept their winning ways rolling on October 1 in a battle of unbeatens taking down Oklahoma Christian Academy (4-1,1-1 in district action) 39-28 in Edmond.

It was a tight ball game for the first half as the teams were tied 13-13 after the first quarter and the Wildcats led 25-22 at the half. Cashion would add two scores in the third quarter to extend the lead to 39-22 before OCA would get their last score in the fourth quarter for the final of 39-28.

The seniors were leading the way again as Nick Nabavi carried the ball 26 times for 226 yards and two touchdowns. Ben Harman was 19-for-26 with three touchdowns and one interception in the game for 304 yards. Senior Landon LaGasse had nine catches for 188 yards and three touchdowns. Mason Manning had six catches for 69 yards. The Wildcats ran 61 plays for 526 yards in the game, while OCA ran 59 plays for 344 yards in the game.

Cashion has Senior Night this Friday in Cashion as they are on the road the last three weeks of the regular season. The Wildcats will host Hinton (4-1,0-1 in district play) with kickoff at 7 p.m. Senior night ceremonies time was not announced as of press time.
