Barbara Ann Bostwick, 76, of Guthrie, OK passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021 in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born August 28, 1944 in Columbia, KY to Francis A. and Dorthy V. (England) Pendleton.
She was married to Bill Avery Bostwick on May 4, 1961. She was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her family, needlepoint, bingo, and taking in numerous abandoned baby animals but most of all, she loved spending time with her miniature toy poodle.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill; brother, Richard (Dickie) Pendleton; sister, Evelyn Meek; and grandson, Tony Tatum.
She is survived by her children, Allen (Michelle) Bostwick of Guthrie, Brenda Bostwick of Crescent, OK, Ben Bostwick of Guthrie, and Brian Bostwick of Guthrie; 7 grandchildren / step-grandchildren;7 great-grandchildren / step-great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren / step-great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Jackie (Betty) Pendleton of McAlester, OK; sisters, Marylyn Powell of Guthrie, Mary (David) Casady of Webbers Falls, OK, and Nancy Taylor of Guthrie; and her fur baby, Minie.
As per Barbara’s wishes, she is to be cremated and no services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, 220 North 1st St., Guthrie, OK 73044.
