Rose A. Smith, age 96, of Casper, WY passed away Sunday July 18, 2021. She was born on November 29, 1924, in Rosedale, TX. She married Robert Lee (Bob) Smith on November 13, 1943, in Lake Charles, LA. The two of them lived in Guthrie for many years before moving to Casper, WY.
Rose is survived by two daughters, Rosemary Greer of Casper, WY and Judy Baker and husband Kyle of Guthrie and one sone, Robert Wayne Williams and wife Sue of Friendswood, TX; eight grandchildren, Brenda Giese and husband Rick, Daren Greer and wife Kay, Jason Greer, all of Casper, WY, Jon Brewer and fiancè Tammie, Joe Brewer and wife Tanya, Poe Lijewskie and wife Ginger, Josh Smith and wife Sarah, all of Guthrie, and Jeanie Gail Ferrington and husband Greg of Friendswood, Texas; eleven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Bob.
Rosary was held at Bustard & Jacoby Funeral Home on Friday, July 23rd, with Mass on on July 24th at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, both in Casper, WY. Mass Intention will be offered at St. Mary Catholic Church in Guthrie at a later date.
