The Cashion basketball teams played their final home games of the year in a regional first round game that advanced both teams to Saturday nights regional final in Latta and to next weekends Area round in Chickasha.
The LadyCats started the night with a 34-31 win over #10 Stratford (17-4) and now face #3 Latta (19-2) in their home gym at 6 p.m. Saturday night. Latta beat Calera 39-25 to advance. The LadyCats are 17-6 and currently ranked 13th in Class 2A
The Wildcats beat Stratford 71-52 on Thursday night. The #3 ranked team in Class 2A is 19-3 and faces #16 Wewoka (10-4) on Saturday night in Latta at 8 p.m.
