Jackie “Jack” Fredrick Andrews

Jackie “Jack” Fredrick Andrews, age 88 of Guthrie, Oklahoma was born on January 11, 1933 in Mulhall, Oklahoma to John J. and Alma (Fredrick) Andrews. He passed away on January 25, 2021 in Edmond.

Jack graduated from Mulhall High School in 1951. On March 7, 1952 he married Bonnie Wells. Of this union one child was born, Brenda. He later married Dorothea Jane Luckinbill on May 4, 2002.

Jack lived in Guthrie most of his life. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Navy where he served in the Korean War as a submariner. He retired from Kerr McGee as a health physicist.

Survivors include his daughter Brenda Yount of Guthrie, sister JoAnn LeGrande and husband Sammy of Guthrie, grandson Mason Andrews and wife Rae-Lyn of Enid, grandson Christopher Thompson and partner Sacy of Guthrie, and seven great grandchildren. Jack was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie in 2001, wife Dorothea Jane in 2017, his parents John and Alma Andrews, and his sister Marlene Lankford.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Hayes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hersey Hammons officiating. Interment will follow at Cooper Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 12:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
