Steven Lynn Thomason

Steven Lynn Thomason, 66, of Mulhall, Oklahoma, passed away on July 18, 2026, in Mulhall.

Steven was born on May 16, 1960, in Guthrie, Oklahoma, to Johnnie and Linda (Ewing) Thomason.

Steven was a man who found beauty in the stories of the past and the moments that often went unnoticed. Self-employed throughout much of his life, he enjoyed antiquing and photography, spending countless hours searching for unique treasures and capturing the world through his camera lens. His curiosity, creativity, and appreciation for history gave him a unique perspective on life.

He also had a special love for his faithful dog, whose companionship brought him comfort, joy, and unwavering loyalty throughout the years.

Those who knew Steven will remember him for the memories he created, the conversations he shared, and the quiet ways he touched the lives of others. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

Steven is survived by his father Johnnie Thomason and wife Jo; brother John Thomason and wife Desiree of Mulhall; brother Kelly Hoskins of Texas; stepsisters Staci Tressler and husband Terry of Lucein and Jennifer Faske of N. Little Rock, AR; numerous nieces and nephews and many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Linda Ewing Thomason Cameron; grandparents Charley and Letha Thomason and Sydney and Irene Ewing.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2026, at the Hayes Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will follow at Summit View Cemetery in Guthrie.
