Guthrie Fire & EMS firefighter Brown has earned a paramedic license after successfully completing an intensive year-long training program.
Brown completed the School of EMS paramedic program at the Guthrie Fire Department and recently passed the National Registry paramedic examination, qualifying for licensure as a paramedic.
Fire department officials said the achievement reflects Brown’s dedication to providing the highest level of emergency medical care to the community.
“Guthrie Fire & EMS is proud to have dedicated professionals like Paramedic Brown who go above and beyond to better serve the citizens of our community,” the department said in a statement on their Facebook Page.
Brown’s new credential expands the department’s ability to provide advanced life support and emergency medical services to Guthrie residents.
