James “Bill” William Coburn, 84, of Guthrie, Oklahoma, passed from this life on June 13, 2026 in Guthrie. Bill was born April 17, 1942 in Guthrie to Wheeler and Eulah (Starks) Coburn.
He lived his whole life in Guthrie. He married Karen Ann Huffine on June 17, 1961 and they had two children, Lisa and Billy. Karen preceded Bill in death on October 15, 2022. Bill worked as a firefighter and farmer throughout his life, and he died peacefully in his home, just as he wished. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, 220 North 1st Street, Guthrie, Oklahoma 73044.
