STILLWATER, Okla. – Leaning away from the Thanksgiving dinner table with a sigh and stuffed tummy is a comfort beyond the reach of many Oklahomans this year. 4-H’ers across the state are trying to make it a possibility with food drives for community food banks and pantries.

STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma State University Ferguson College of Agriculture professor Jon Ramsey was recognized by the Association of Public and Land-Grant Universities with the 2021 USDA Southern Region Excellence in Teaching Award.

STILLWATER, Okla. – The Association of Public and Land-grant Universities recognized Oklahoma State Ferguson College of Agriculture professor Beatrix Haggard with the 2021 National USDA Early Career Award for Excellence in Teaching.

STILLWATER, Okla. – The seasons are changing, and gardeners are transitioning their potted plants indoors for the winter. To prevent plants from losing their leaves once inside, Oklahoma State University Extension recommends allowing them time to adjust to their new environment.

Robert B Huston came to Guthrie, O.T. to join his brother Hadley, and together they formed a law office in Guthrie. Huston also became a member of the Territorial Militia. Reorganized in1895 the militia became the Oklahoma National Guard. Huston served as Captain for Company A.
