Guthrie Noon Lions Club helps provide Free Health Screenings

Saturday evening, June 3rd, the Guthrie Noon Lions Club will be offering FREE HEALTH SCREENING from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM in conjunction with the Red Brick Nights in downtown Guthrie.  The Health Screening will be held in the Guthrie Vision Source Offices, 110 E.
The Guthrie Chamber of Commerce recently held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for their investor, I’ve Been Framed. I’ve Been Framed is located at 117 W. Oklahoma Ave in the heart of downtown Guthrie. They have over 10 years of custom framing experience. They also offer a variety of gift items including candles, art, jewelry, and more. The Guthrie 4-H Club participated in the Great American Cleanup, Keep Oklahoma Beautiful Project with 2 of the club’s special service projects this April & May. The Guthrie club was a recipient of a $300 start-up grant from Keep Oklahoma Beautiful and OG&E Energy Corp.

Wilene Simoneaux, age 78 of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away on May 20, 2023. She was born on February 11, 1945 to Don and Ada (Taylor) Tripp. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home. Friends and family may sign the online guestbook at hayesfh.
