Being in the Netherlands is a bit like visiting Seattle. Cities are very crowded with pedestrians all over. Bikes and scooters are the primary mode of transport in the central parts of the cities; one can see how if you never leave the central area of town, you have no need for anything else.

K of C hosts fifth annual Stuff the Truck this weekend

The Knights of Columbus Council 916 of St. Mary’s Catholic Church will be hosting its fifth annual Stuff the Truck with Turkeys event this weekend to benefit members of God’s Food Bank and the Crescent Food Bank. Cash Savers Grocery Store has 350 turkeys in the 10- to 14-pound range.

City Council updated on Highland Park pool report

The Guthrie City Council Tuesday was given its first report for the Highland Park pool, and more investigation is needed to determine whether it can become functional again. “ The plumbing has completely deteriorated,” said City Manager Eddie Faulkner.

OCU hosts author of “Killers of the Flower Moon”
