ODOT TAP Grant Project Awarded

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) has recently approved the contract with Ellsworth Construction, LLC to make upgrades to sidewalks and intersections along Division Street (Highway 77) in Guthrie.

Guthrie Rotary Student of the Week

The Guthrie Rotary Club Student of the Week is Katelynn Siess. She is the daughter of Sean and Tonia Siess. Katelynn is active with the Pied Pipers, Treble Concert Choir and softball. She is a member of the National Honor Society. After graduation, Katelynn plans to major in Geology at OSU.

Voter Registration Deadline Approaches

Friday, December 15, is the last day to apply for voter registration in order to be eligible to vote in the January 9 City of Guthrie Special Municipal Election, Logan County Election Board Secretary Sheleen Winscott said today.

Candidate Filing Begins For Board of Education

Candidate filing for the Board of Education begins Monday, December 4 for four Logan County school districts. Those who wish to file for a Board of Education office must submit a Declaration of Candidacy to the Logan County Election Board December 4, 5 or 6, between the hours of 8 a.m.

Tour distinctive homes and historic buildings and join in Christmas charm from days of old with theVictorianWalks. On December 2nd, tour some of Guthrie’s most distinctive homes and historic buildings decorated for the holidays. The tours run from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and tickets are $20 each.

Helping the Children of Guthrie

Kiwanis Club of Guthrie hosts its annual Kiwanis Christmas Auction. Saturday, December 2 from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Frist United Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall located at 102 E. Noble Ave. All proceeds benefit the Children of Logan County.
