Coyle High School’s Class of 2024 became the first Logan County school to hold graduation ceremonies as 24 seniors earned their diplomas Friday night, May 10.

The Guthrie JROTC program held their annual awards ceremony on May 1st, where they recognized students for their individual and collective achievements. The evening started with recognition of the best class, based on their performance in a variety of events and activities.

The Guthrie Rotary Club Student of the Week is Jillian Minter. She is the daughter of William and Laura Minter. Jillian has been active in Lady Jays Tennis and Basketball, the Heritage Club and Link Crew.

Harold Flasch Turns 100 Years Old

Harold Flasch, life-long resident of Coyle, OK will turn 100 on May 22, 2024. There will be a reception on Saturday, May 11 in Guthrie, OK, at Berk Hall, Zion Lutheran Church at 1 p.m. followed by board games at 2:30 p.m. and those who like to play Pinochle (a card game).
