Route 66 Veterans' Plaza being built in Oklahoma

Your military service is being honored and recognized at the Route 66 Veterans' Plaza being built on Route 66 in downtown Bethany, Oklahoma.  You have an opportunity to recognize your family's and friend's contributions to the United States with a personalized paver or tax-deductible contribution for the Route 66 Veterans' Plaza designed by renowned sculptor Scott Stearman.  The Plaza is being constructed at the corner of Route 66 and Donald Street on the Southern Nazarene University campus in Bethany, Oklahoma and will be dedicated on Veterans' Day, 2022.  Designed to honor those who served our nation and those who sent them, the Route 66 Veterans' Plaza will welcome visitors to this unique site where they can read letters written to family members, recognize Oklahomans who fought and died in the Global War on Terrorism, memoralize the Gold Star Families who lost loved ones on battle fields, and honor all of those who represented our country in the military service.

Orders for personalized pavers may be made on the Bethany Improvement Foundation's webpage at www.bethany improvement foundation.com/store.  A 4"x8" paver holds 3 lines of 13 letters/spaces for a $100 donation; an 8"x8" paver holds 5 lines of 13 letters/spaces for a $200 donation; and a 12"x12" paver can hold 9 lines of 13 letters/spaces OR 4 lines with a logo or military insignia for $500.  Pavers for Gold star families will be in a special location and given a distinctive color.  Donors of $5000 or more will receive a model of the sculpture.  Corporate and Leadership Contributions of $10,000 or more will be recognized on the black granite wall.
