Late Monday, Guthrie High School Boys Basketball Coach, Sean Morgan submitted his resignation. He notified GHS Athletic Director, Jon Chappell, that he had accepted a teaching position with Stillwater Public Schools.
Morgan, a Stillwater native, was named Head Coach of the Bluejay program on May 14, 2018, after serving one year as an Assistant Coach. Prior to his time at GHS, Morgan was an Assistant Basketball Coach for Weatherford High School.

He will be going back home and wish him nothing but the best. Having known he and his wife since they were in high school, I know this is all about what is best for their family. We will immediately begin the process to identify the best possible person to lead our boy’s basketball program.”
