Jeepfest Profit Given to Paralyzed Veterans of America Mid-America Chapter

After two years of partnership, the Paralyzed Veterans of America Mid-America Chapter is the benefactor of a substantial amount of funds from Jeepfest, accepting a check at the Vance Auto Dealership on Thursday.

PVA Mid-America Chapter President, Bill Kokendoffer, personally visited and received the check from Megan Vance Ochs to conclude Jeepfest. The money raised will be going to a great cause.

“It’s going to go a long ways to help our programs through the chapter,” Kokendoffer said. “We’re always short when it comes to funding just like every other nonprofit, but it’s going to help greatly with all our programs that we do.”

Jeepfest, having been postponed a year due to COVID-19 precautions in 2020, recorded a great turnout during its event in September.

“It’s been our absolute pleasure working with the Paralyzed Veterans of America this year,” Vance Ochs said. “It enabled us to have a record attendance and a record fundraising total. We consider it a great success.”

In total, the fundraising event generated $15,546.53, all going to the PVA.

“We could think of no greater cause to support than these veterans who have fought for our freedom,” Vance Ochs said.
