The Logan County Board of Commissioners had their regularly scheduled meeting last Thursday, to discuss different improvements and projects in the Logan County community.
The Board of Commissioners for Logan County has received a petition seeking annexation of an area within Logan County, Oklahoma into the Deer Creek Fire Protection District. A call for a public hearing to hear any person to protest the proposed annexation or proposed boundaries of the territory will be held Aug. 1 at 7 p.m. at the Logan County Fairgrounds.
The additional items approved unanimously by the Board of Commissioners include;
- A resolution establishing participation in the Association of County Commissioners of Oklahoma Self Insured Group (ACCO-SIG) for Fiscal Year 2022- 23 property and liability insurance, in the amount of $344,301 and selection of a one time payment option.
- A resolution to renew lease/lease purchase agreements with Logan County Public Works for District No. 1: 2003 JD 672-G Grader SN 2013 JD 672-G Grader SN 2015 JD 672-G Grader SN.
- A resolution to renew lease/lease purchase agreements with Logan County Public Works for District No. 2: 2016 JD Dozer SN
