Oklahoma Poison Center Urges Residents to Be Prepared During Poison Prevention Week

With unintentional poisonings on the rise, Gov. Kevin Stitt has officially proclaimed March 16-22 as Oklahoma Poison Prevention Week to highlight the critical role of poison prevention in protecting families, children and seniors across the state.

Second Week of Session

The second week of the legislative session proved as busy as the first.I passed several of my bills in committee, and now they are eligible to be considered by their respective oversight committees.House Bill 1561 would create the Foreign Adversary Divestment Act (FADA).

Board Approves 50/50 State Grant

The Logan County Board of Commissioners last Friday approved a (State of Oklahoma) Emergency Response Capability and Impacts Grant Program Agreement for a 50/50 grant for upgrades to the Sheriff ’s radio communication system.The total project cost is $250,000.
