Cashion baseball takes on Stroud Tournament

The undefeated Cashion Wildcats head into their second tournament in a week on Thursday as they’re set to compete in the Stroud Tournament at Stroud High School.

CHS’ McGuire, Stockton picked as All Star wrestlers

Cashion head wrestling coach Fay Barnett saw two of his athletes earn postseason honors as Wildcats’ seniors Cooper McGuire and Matthew Stockton were named to the 2025 Class 3A All-Star wrestling team by the Oklahoma Coaches Association.

Guthrie Wins Three Before Spring Break

Guthrie soccer edged out by Christian Heritage

Thursday’s showdown between Guthrie girls’ soccer and the visiting Christian Heritage Academy Crusaders was a game of phases.One phase would end up in half an hour of back-and-forth shut down defense. The next would be a burst of scoring for 20 minutes, then another half hour of defense.

Guthrie AJROTC defeats Kaiser High School

Shooting their highest score of the season Guthrie AJROTC defeated Kaiser High School 925.4 to 897.5 in the 2025 National Air Rifle New Shooter League. Their third win in a row. Guthrie AJROTC was led by Jesseana Holder who shot a 273.6.

Hall, Herendeen named All-State wrestlers

The 2025 Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State wrestling teams have been announced and both of the Guthrie Bluejays’ pair of state champions made this year’s cut.Seniors Bryson Hall and Kaedin Herendeen were among 13 athletes to be selected to the Large West All-State team.
Coach Aman, Nash Huskey and Caden Shipley won the 2 doubles bracket, Brennan Williams, Ella Huskey, Drake Shelton and Trenton Edberg placed 3rd at 1 doubles, Lillie Benton and Teagan Duehning were 2nd at 2 doubles, Bowen Ingram, Marley Aitkens, Savannah Schlueter, Taylor Shipley and not pictured, Natalia Acosta placed second at 1 doubles and Coach O’Hara. Guthrie Baseball Season Starts with a Bang

Guthrie High’s varsity baseball team began the 2025 season last week, with four solid wins out of the gate to get them going.Last Monday, March 3, Guthrie opened up with a district double-header against the Guymon Tigers and spent most of the day tearing the cover off the ball.
