On Saturday, September 20th, eighteen high school marching bands performed in the preliminary round at the Deer Creek Invitational Marching Contest, twelve of those bands made it to the finals round.

Defense carries Coyle to road win

Carsen Hock scored twice and James Lackey recovered a pair of fumbles to lead Coyle to a season-opening 16-6 win at Pond Creek-Hunter on Friday.Hock hauled in a 55-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Tyree Lancaster in the second quarter and scored on a 48-yard jet sweep in the third.
