Jim Bean, lovingly known as “Beaner,” age 70 of Crescent, Oklahoma left this earth on July 19, 2021 to be a warrior for Christ. He was born on March 6, 1951, in Lawton, Oklahoma. Jim was a longtime resident of both Crescent and Guthrie.

Helen Anne Bartram

Helen Anne Bartram was born October 25, 1945. She left her earthly home for her heavenly home on July 20, 2021. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister who loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Helen is preceded in death by her husband, William Bartram, Jr.

Rose A. Smith

Rose A. Smith, age 96, of Casper, WY passed away Sunday July 18, 2021. She was born on November 29, 1924, in Rosedale, TX. She married Robert Lee (Bob) Smith on November 13, 1943, in Lake Charles, LA. The two of them lived in Guthrie for many years before moving to Casper, WY.

Mona Marie Simpson

Mona Marie Cutler Simpson grew up on her family’s farm southeast of Guthrie, Oklahoma. She attended Oak Ridge School through fourth grade when she transferred to Guthrie Public Schools. She graduated from GHS in 1955. She married Richard Simpson on September 5, 1954.

Alan Eugene Ford

Alan Eugene Ford, age 78 of Guthrie, Oklahoma was born on December 16, 1942 in Guthrie to Doyle J. and Ruth Elaine (Garrett) Ford. He passed away on July 14, 2021 in Guthrie. Alan graduated from Guthrie High School in 1960. He married Shirley Clay-Rothermel on June 24, 1983.

Ernestine Dilks, 95, Guthrie, OK Graveside services for Ernestine were held Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at 10:30 am in the Temple Cemetery in Temple, Oklahoma. Arrangements with the Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home.

Charles Knox Campbell

Charles Knox Campbell, age 87 of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away on July 10, 2021. Charles was born on March 16, 1934 in Guthrie to Harry and Ruby (Knox) Campbell. Charles graduated from Guthrie High School in 1952. He worked in the oil field as a roughneck and tool pusher.

Catherine Irene Nail Turner

Catherine Irene Nail Turner, Nee’ Carson, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on July 7th, 2021. Catherine was born March 22nd, 1938, in Guthrie Oklahoma to Robert and Gertie Carson. She was the youngest of three siblings including Ardyth Dunsworth and Gary Carson.

Mary Ellen Jones, 94, of Guthrie, OK, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021 in Guthrie, OK. Graveside services were held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, July 12, 2021at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, 220 North 1st St., Guthrie, OK 73044.
