Benjamin “Ben” Paul Taylor, age 34, of Guthrie, Oklahoma, passed away on May 1, 2025. He was born on March 22, 1991, in Richmond, Virginia, to Linwood Taylor and Debbie Kingsbury.
Ben moved to Guthrie in 2022 from Kentucky, bringing with him a quiet strength, a kind heart, and a deep love for the outdoors. A self-employed tree trimmer, Ben found purpose and peace in nature. He had a gift for fixing things—whether it was equipment, a piece of furniture, or someone’s day. He was happiest when working with his hands and being outside under the open sky.
Ben is survived by his mother, Debbie Pointer, and his father, Linwood Taylor; his sister, Elizabeth Ashley Taylor; his grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. Milton Kingsbury; and many loving aunts and uncles, including James and Jackie Taylor, Trisha Clemmons, Debbie and Lewis Hopkins. He also leaves behind his beloved nephews, Jakobee and Little George.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bernard and Gladys Taylor, and his uncle, Allen Taylor.
