OKLAHOMA CITY – JESSICA DAWN BURTON, 53, of Guthrie, has pleaded guilty to conspiring to commit wire fraud while employed as a bookkeeper for a nursing home in Hydro, Oklahoma, announced U.S. Attorney Robert J. Troester.

City Council Approves Funding for Emergency Water Main Repairs

Guthrie’s City Council on Tuesday adopted a resolution declaring that an emergency exists within the meaning of the Public Competitive Bidding Act as a result of damage to a Cottonwood Creek water main, which provides water to the west side of town.

Celebration to Honor 20th Anniversary of Fine Arts Museum, Owens' Legacy

It’s been 20 years since Wallace Owens Jr. opened the Owens Arts Place Museum. On Sunday, he will be hosting a celebration of the museum’s long-standing status as the first and only fine arts museum in the history of Logan County. “We’re showing our permanent collection,” Owens said.
