October Sales and Use Tax

The City of Guthrie saw an increase in its October sales tax and use tax, which are compiled from tax receipts from August business. According to the city report, Guthrie received $690,996 in sales tax revenue this month. This is two percent higher or $14,237 more compared to the same month in 2021 at $676,758.

The Year- to- Date collection is $690,996 which is one percent more than YTD projection of $683,521 (or, $7,475 more than projection).

Guthrie’s use (internet) tax was $93,219 this month.

This amount is nine percent higher or $ 8,033 more as compared to the same month last year at $85,186.

The City’s YTD collection is $93,219 which is one percent more than YTD projection of $92,208 (or $1,012 more than projection).
