Sales tax revenue for October in the City of Guthrie increased by 9% compared to the same month in 2021.
Latest figures showed the City received $721,503 in sales tax, which is $59,789 more than October of last year ($661,714).
Accumulatively, the City›s sales tax revenue is 8% percent higher as compared to 2022 (or $163,526).
Year- to- date collection is $ 2,137,787, which is 4.3% more than the projection of $2,050,562.
The City’s Use Tax (internet tax) revenue is up as well, having received $96,723 in Use Tax from October business numbers.
That amount is 7% higher when compared to the same month last year at $90,307.
Accumulatively, the City’s Use Tax totals show a 2% growth over last year (or $6,506).
The year-to-date collection of Use Tax revenue is $270,832, which is 2% less than the projection of $276,624 (or $5,792 less).
