Langston University Set for 126th Commencement

Langston University will celebrate its 126th Commencement Ceremony at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 9, at W.E. Anderson Stadium on the university’s Langston campus.

Doctoral, master’s and bachelor’s degree candidates from the university’s campuses in Langston, Oklahoma City and Tulsa, as well as the educational site inArdmore, will participate in the ceremony.

Accomplished alumnus Sherman L. Lewis will serve as the distinguished commencement speaker.

The university’s annual commencement ceremony is one of its longstanding HBCU traditions and is known as a lively celebration honoring graduating students and their achievements.

The event is free and open to the public. The ceremony also will be livestreamed on the university’s Facebook page and YouTube channel. Additional information is available at langston.edu/ commencement
