The 2025 Midwest LiftFest raised $21,715 for CASA for Kids. The event was held Sept. 27 in Guthrie and was sponsored by Vance Auto Group, Kicker Audio Performance, and numerous businesses and individuals. Each year, LiftFest selects a nonprofit beneficiary, and this year’s recipient was CASA for Kids, a volunteer based organization serving Logan, Payne and Kay counties.
CASA for Kids, Inc. recruits, trains and supports Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteers who advocate for abused and neglected children in DHS custody. These volunteers are appointed by a judge to make recommendations to the court about what is in the child’s best interest and to ensure each child has a stable, caring adult speaking on their behalf.
The event featured lifted trucks, Jeeps and local vendors. Funds were formally presented during a check presentation Wednesday afternoon.
“We were able to raise more than $21,000 for CASA for Kids,” organizers said. “Every dollar helps CASA continue its mission of advocating for children who need a voice in our community.”
CASA Executive Director Sarah Priest expressed her gratitude for the support.
“We are deeply grateful to Midwest LiftFest for this generous donation and to every business and individual who gave their time and resources to make it possible,” Priest said. “These funds will directly support children in Logan County by helping us train and support volunteer advocates who stand up for kids who have experienced abuse and neglect and are navigating the foster care system. We truly love the Guthrie community — your support makes our work possible, and we could not be the program we are without you.”
Organizers of the event also thanked the many sponsors, volunteers and attendees for contributing to this year’s success, noting that the heart of the fundraiser is giving back to those who need it most.
