Community Giving at the Heart of United Way of Logan County’s Mission

United Way of Logan County, founded in 1986 by local volunteers determined to meet growing community needs, continues to make a lasting difference for thousands of residents each year.

Through its annual campaign, United Way funds programs at local partner agencies providing vital services that support families, children, seniors and individuals facing hardship throughout Logan County. By pooling donations, the organization allows contributors to maximize the impact of their charitable giving while strengthening the safety net that supports the community.

United Way’s efforts are fueled by generous workplace campaigns across the county, where employers and employees unite to invest in local solutions. Donors may also support the mission through online pledging, leadership giving opportunities or by volunteering their time.

The Leadership Giving program offers individuals the chance to take a more active role in creating lasting change, while workplace campaigns remain the backbone of local fundraising efforts. Volunteers and businesses interested in contributing time or resources are encouraged to reach out directly.

“United Way exists because this community cares,” organizers said. “Every donation stays local and helps neighbors when they need it most.”
