    On June 1, 2024 at 2 PM Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church 1224 E. Springer Ave.,, Guthrie, OK Celebrated the First Annual Juneteenth (June 19), Black elderly, Senior Beauty Queens of Guthrie, Oklahoma.

    Their senior ages are what qualified our awardees hereby recognizing, honoring and crowning them as Queens. Each received a certificate with many other accolades. Wearing their crowns and sashes not only made them Queens for that day, but they will be recognized yearly.

    As the list grows and they continue to gracefully age to help us commemorate our freedom signed by Abraham Lincoln in 1863 , we will always remember where we came from, and thank God for bringing us thus far.

    The 21 beauty queens were honored and representatives were allowed to stand in for their relatives . All names are called out whether absent or present. Thanks to everyone who assisted us to make this happen. We know God made it all possible. He put his people together, and this was the result. God makes no mistakes, thank you for all obeying God! Thanks go the Queens for giving us hope.
