Is a Blue Ribbon in your future?

Do the cookies you bake seem to evaporate as soon as you make them? Do your cakes and your pies seem to dematerialize when you remove them from the oven, and did you hear a loud crunch that gave you a hunch where your Peanut Brittle vanished? These auspicious omens foretell success for YOUR entries in the culinary competition at the Annual Logan County Bake Show on April 13, at the Education Building on the Logan County Fairgrounds. You are a definite candidate for a Blue Ribbon! And there is an Open Class category for Logan County residents ages 8, 80, older, or in between to enter their Cakes, Pies, Cookies, Candy, Yeast Breads, Quick Breads and breads from Bread machines open to all free of charge. Don’t miss this invitation to demonstrate your experience and expertise. Compete! And encourage kids and teens to participate in the contests. Call the OSU Extension Office (405-282-3331) or come by the Office at 225 Fairgrounds Rd and pick up entry sheets and flyers with all the information necessary to enter the contest. THINK BLUE!
