Some of the more than 300 cars on display at the 40th Annual Car Show
sponsored by Tim’s Body Worx on September 9 in Mineral Wells Park. The Best in Show
award went to Alan Estes and a 1965 Chevy Impala. The People’s Choice Award went to
Jeffrey Earnest and a 1969 Chevrolet C10 Stepaside. The Street Kings Motor Club of
Guthrie was the car club with the most registered vehicles and won $200. Biggs’s BBQ and
Dueling Dishes fed over 500 people at the event. There was a 50/50 Raffle with Veterans
Flags by Vets receiving over $500.
