Ticket Punched

Body

On February 22, 2019, a dejected Cashion Wildcat team sat inside the locker room at Hinton High School. Hobart had just ended the Wildcats season in the second round of the regional tournament. A promising season cut short. It was at that moment that the Wildcats made a promise. They wouldn't feel this pain again. Next year, the Wildcats would be in the state tournament.

Surviving And Advancing

Body

Game One (Thursday):
OCA - 59
No. 14 Cashion - 73

The LadyCats liked the shots they were getting in the first half, the only problem was they weren’t dropping. Instead of pressing and trying to change the gameplan, the LadyCats stuck to the offense banking on the open shots falling eventually.

LadyJays extend season; El Reno awaits tomorrow

Body
The Guthrie LadyJays split their weekend games in Piedmont last week to advance to the area round in Norman North tomorrow night. Guthrie beat Shawnee 41-36 on Feb. 27 to advance to the regional final last Saturday. In the regional final, the LadyJays got #2 Piedmont for the title game. While the final score was 57-37, that was not indicative of how hard the LadyJays played a good and deep Piedmont team. The LadyCats dropped 11-three pointers on the Guthrie team and the LadyJays had one for the whole game.
