David Lane Chandler was born to Glenn and Jerri Chandler on April 8, 1953 in Ada, Oklahoma. He went home to be with his Savior on Sunday, February 16, 2020 in Oklahoma City, OK.

He was the oldest of five children. When David was young, the family moved to Norman. He attended Moore schools where he graduated from Moore High School in 1971. David spent his career in construction and was employed the last thirteen years with Hobby Lobby most recently as Director of Construction, Field Operations.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

David is survived by brothers Danny (Sherry), Darryl (Karla), Dean (Candy), and sister Dayna Williams (Gary) as well as four nieces and one nephew.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Smith Memorial Chapel with Pastor Darryl Chandler officiating. Interment will follow at Summit View Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.

The family would like to thank his friends, especially Jill Bass, for the care of David the past few months.
