Our beloved Mom and Mah, Charlotte Lanell (Wesley) Dudek, 71, of Mulhall, OK passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2020 in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born July 11, 1948 in Guthrie, OK to Charles and Ruth (Franklin) Wesley. Charlotte grew up on a farm west of Mulhall. She graduated from Mulhall High School in 1966. In July of 1966, she married the love of her life, Jerry. They spent 51 wonderful years together until his passing in 2018. Together they lived on a farm west of Mulhall. They had 3 children, Julie, Casey, and Scott.  In 1983, she went back to school to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. She attended Meridian Technology Center in Stillwater with her class being the first class to graduate in the program. 

She worked at the Masonic Home in Guthrie as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 18 years until the home closed. After the closing of the Masonic Home, she went to work for LinCare where she worked for 2 years. She then went to work at Golden Age Nursing Home until she retired in 2014. She enjoyed taking care of her great-granddaughter and spending time with her family.  Mah loved to go shopping with her granddaughters and it was an all day event. For the last 25 years, she enjoyed taking her granddaughters to Disney on Ice which is a tradition that will be carried on.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ruth (Franklin) Wesley; her husband, Jerry Dudek; her son, Casey Dudek; her daughter, Julie Widener; and her brother-in-law, Frank Dudek.

Charlotte is survived by her son, Scott (Heather) of Mulhall; her son-in-law, Kenny Widener of Guthrie; brother, Ben (Donna) Wesley of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; nieces, Madeline and Amelia, of Ft. Lauderdale; her brother-in-law, Anton (Tony) Dudek of Killeen, TX; and her sister-in-law, Im Dudek of Killeen, TX. She is also survived by 3 very special granddaughters, Gail Dudek of Mulhall, Tiffany Dudek and April Dudek, both of Guthrie and 1 special great-granddaughter, Angel Dudek of Mulhall.  Also surviving Charlotte are many beloved family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, July 6, 2020 at Guthrie Church of the Nazarene. Interment will follow at Victor Cemetery in Mulhall. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie. Visitation will be held Sunday, 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Companion Health Care, 1314 E. Oklahoma Avenue, Guthrie, OK 73044.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Companion Home Health in Guthrie for taking wonderful care of our Mom and to the staff at Mercy Hospital for taking great care of Mom in her final days.
