Brittany Timmons has been chosen as Guthrie Chamber’s new CEO. She will begin her duties on April 6.
“The board is very excited to announce Brittany as our new Chamber CEO. We look forward to this new chapter with her,” said Chairman of the Board Cagney Moorman.
Timmons recently served as the Resident Manager of the Villas of Benedictine Pointe. She and her husband Corey have two daughters. Hadley age nine and Aubrey, age five. Both attend Cotteral Elementary.
“I am very honored to take on this new role,” expressed Timmons. “I look forward to helping promote the businesses in our great community. This is truly my dream job and I cannot wait to take on this new adventure.”
Current President and CEO, Tracy Zserdin is leaving to join the team of Made Possible By (see more at madepossibleby.us.) She will remain at the chamber until April 30.
“I’m super excited that Brittany was chosen,” said Zserdin. “We had a lot of very qualified candidates which speaks to the quality of people we have in Guthrie. I have greatly appreciated the love and support of the Guthrie community as CEO. I will continue to serve Guthrie in my role as the community relations director of the Guthrie based technology start up Made Possible By.”
Timmons said, “I've fallen in love with this community and the people here. My family is proud to call Guthrie home. I believe in our town and what we stand for and have always stood for. Guthrie is a great place to live and grow and I want to keep pushing onward and upward! I feel I can truly make a difference in my new role and I look forward to getting started soon.”
