Donna Ray Falter, 77, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 23, 2020 in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born in 1942 to Cecil Wayne and Vera May Calhoun in Pueblo, CO.
Donna spent her early years growing up in Woodward, OK, the only daughter of three children and Daddy’s little princess. She was swept off her feet by a dashing Minnesota army private, Ordell Hall, and married him the Christmas after she graduated from High School. She and Ordell moved to Emporia, KS and worked many years as Lab Techs for Newman Memorial Hospital. They had daughters, Lisa and Terri, before divorcing in 1980.
Donna became a successful real estate agent and met and married a tall, lanky cowboy, Bob Falter in 1981. They moved to Oklahoma in 1985, and have been at their current Guthrie residence for the past 30 years.
Donna was passionate about her Christian faith, flower gardening, playing music, her friends and family, including Molly… Fox News and, of course, Sudoku. Her laughter, her love, and her feisty spirit will be very much missed.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents and step-daughter, Kim.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Robert Gene; brothers, Larry Calhoun of Oklahoma City and George Calhoun of Norman, OK; daughters, Lisa Hall and partner of Camillus, NY and Terri Hall of New Milford, CT; step-son, Jeffrey Falter and family; and step-daughter, Christy Alexander and family; and a host of other much loved friends and family.
