Pictured above, T.J. Wilson signs his Letter of Intent to continue his basketball playing career at Mid-America Christian University. T.J was joined with Michael Canning, Devin Frey, Kevin Frey, Janna Frey, and Mid-America Assistant Coach Tracy Wilkins. T.J. said he chose Mid-America for a couple of reasons. “I love the campus, I love everything about the school, especially the basketball team,” Wilson said. “It just seemed like I would fit in good.” Wilson will start out just like every freshman at MACU, as he will begin his career on the junior varsity team. “I am going to have to earn my minutes,” Wilson said. “They said that is a big part of the program, I just have to work hard.” Wilson did not see himself signing to play college basketball four years ago, which made his signing more special. “I did not think I was going to be here four years ago,” Wilson said. “It means a lot to me. I never would have imagined that this would ever happen.”
